What is ROBO?
A message from the founder of ROBO, Jackson Forbes, explaining what ROBO is at its core.
ROBO is a creed, a choice made by an individual to Reach Out Beyond One's Self.
"I'm Kelsey Koelzer, a senior psychology student on the Women's Ice Hockey team at Princeton. I grew up in Horsham, Pennsylvania, a suburb just outside of Philadelphia and have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old. At Princeton I had the honor of being team captain my senior year, following an Ivy-League Championship season and NCAA appearance my junior year. I was Ivy-league player of the year in 2016, ECAC Defender of the year in 2016 and a Patty Kazmaier Top-10 Finalist in 2016 and 2017. Moving forward I will be playing professional ice hockey for the NY Riveters of the NWHL and working in the Tri-state area."
Brianna M. Ziegler
"I'm Brianna M. Ziegler, a senior at Kean University with an interest in pursuing the sports entertainment fields. My twenty-two years of life have been nothing less than unique.
In the summer of 2016 I decided that I was going to start training for my first powerlifting competition. I had six weeks to prepare for this competition. In November 2016 I competed in the USA Powerlifting Iron Gobbler event and took the Gold Medal for my class. I am now the NJ State record holder for my division in the squat, deadlift, and bench press.
My love for sports and the core of who I am originates from when I was an player on Newton High School's Boy's football team. At Newton High I was the first female in the school's history to play all four years, the first female to receive a variety letter, and the first female to score points on the varsity team.
I am a firm believer in the idea that YOU can accomplish ANYTHING. Now linked with ROBO, I hope that by sharing my stories with others I can inspire you, too, to accomplish anything."
